“I was very impressed with the way Patty took the time to find out who we were and what we were about. Because she understood our mission and philosophies, her ideas, the color schemes and final design were perfect.”

Initial Meeting: This meeting is important for the decision makers in the family. It includes discussion and a tour of your property. From this meeting, Patty will develop a scope of services and fee proposal that will be sent to you for your approval. Documents such as architectural plans or a site survey are gathered to help determine the scope of the project.

Site Inventory and Analysis: Once a proposal is signed, a second visit to your property involves taking measurements and an inventory of existing items to remain, be re-used, re-purposed or removed. Documentation photographs, or “before” photographs, will also be taken during this visit.

Design Program: As the last step in the preparation phase, a design program is prepared. This is a summary of the initial meeting and the site analysis. It also serves as a checklist to make sure everything discussed is given consideration in the plan.
